Cupcakes have been very popular for wedding receptions this season. Many brides offer cupcakes in addition to their wedding cake, while go with a complete cupcake theme. Thea’s cupcakes are, of course, fabulously delicious, made with the best ingredients she can find.

If you are considering cupcakes for your wedding, make sure you budget for rental of the cupcake stand. This is one of those expenses that many planners miss – and, of course, a vital part of the presentation. You will also want to ensure that your rental includes setup and delivery, and – very important – pick up of the stand after your wedding. These are surprisingly expensive – you don’t want to be burdened with the unexpected cost of a lost cupcake stand after your special day!

A Baker’s Field Guide to Cupcakes

Let’s see, what do I like about this book…well, the chocolate cupcake is good. The photos are pretty.

That’s about it. The rest of the recipes I have tried use too much milk in the batter, with poor-tasting results.

Pass on this one, it isn’t worth your time.
