Our 2011 Summer Farmers Market Schedule – updated July 28

Hi Everyone! We are tweaking our schedule again. The Saturday market at Deep Cove did not work out, so we are moving to the Lonsdale Quay market on Saturdays beginning on Saturday July 23.

Here are the markets and market dates we will be attending – come see us this summer!

We are delighted to let you know that the Stomping Grounds Coffee Shop in Osprey Village, Pitt Meadows, is now open! We first became aware of this wonderful location when we participated in the Pitt Meadows Farmers Market last year, and so were delighted when new business owner Anahi English approached us about providing Sweet Thea baking for her new coffee shop!

Drop by for a cup of coffee at one of the most beautiful locations on the Fraser River, and try one of Thea’s tarts, muffins, scones, cookies, or a delicious piece of pie!

We know Stomping Grounds is going to be very successful – thank you Anahi and Dylan for letting us be part of your wonderful new business!

Hi everyone!

Too often, at the Market I run out of goodies before market close, disappointing my hungry eaters when they arrive and discover I have ran out of Lemon Tarts, or Apple Pie. Darn!

It is hard for me to calculate in advance what we are going to sell on any particular Market Day, and we need to ‘sell out’ our freshly-baked items. That means often in the last hour of the Market I will be sold out of something – maybe your favorite! -

As of April 1, 2011, we will be accepting pre-orders for pickup at our Farmer’s Market booth. You can contact me and arrange for your order to be set aside at the next market. You can prepay for your order by credit card, if you phone in your order. That way you can be certain that your order is waiting for you when you get to the market.

Our prices:

10″ Traditional Fruit Pies – $14.00 (currently Traditional Apple, Strawberry-Rhubarb, and Mixed Berry are available)

Fresh Tarts – $3.00 minimum pre-order 4 tarts. Lemon, Chocolate Pecan, Pear Almond, and others available.

Cookies – $6/6 cookies. Chocolava, Chocolate Chip, Ginger Crinkle currently available.

Veil Bridal Show at Terminal City Club – February 27
